Forensic psychology is not a forensic science" as it does not deal with physical evidence. Exaggeration or feigning symptoms in order to escape duty or work. 2 assessment tests: mmpi and mmpi-2, malingering probability scale. Persons deemed legally insane: burden of proof, mcl section 768. 21a (1) Insanity at the time of offense: not guilty by reason of insanity, 18 usc section 4242, only occurs in 1% of cases where such a plea is submitted.
