Probativeness: this means that the evidence must prove something, as establishing a material fact-proposition, or making a proposition more or less likely. At the end, probative evidence can help prove or disprove a proposition, accusation, or set of facts. Competence covers exclusionary rules that make relevant evidence otherwise admissible.
