Street foods --> varieties depending on location (chinese style of kfc) Family style --> mostly leftovers from last night"s dinner. Lunch could be a big and formal meal of the day. Dining in restaurants --> to build up networks and business. People eat what they had --> lotus root used to be the main food available in winter. Many foods served signify reunion and have good wishes. Bamboo shoots, black moss seaweed, egg rolls, oranges = wealth. Chinese garlic chives, noodles, peanuts = long life. Lantern festival --> last day of chinese new year season (a day for lovers)
