Royal -> king appoints governor another kid. Charter colonies -> conneticute and rhode island. Charter colonies are when governors are elected by the citizens. Economy is doing well in america, better than england. Average family was about 6 but it"s not common if they had more. Made life manageable when women would wait for the oldest to move out to have. Dutch, germans, and slaves immigrated over. germans would be largest group to come over -> then scottish and irish. America is now becoming more of a class societ in 1700"s.
