Europeans used a feudal system: king had lords (land owners), who had barons, and then the serfs (kind of like now a days slaves). People start growing what is best in the environment they live in-subsistence to specialization. Kings wanted to centralize more powergive themselves more powerstart to take away power from the lords. King starts to tax the population and creates royal armies. Peasants start to move to the city to find factory jobs. Europeans believed in mercantilism: a finite amount of money, in order to get more they had to take o(cid:448)er other cou(cid:374)tries (cid:449)hich lead to the start of e(cid:454)ploratio(cid:374).
