Agreement between us and england that sets the boundary at the 42 parallel (?) Spain gives up its claims to the pacific northwest (oregon) U. s. gives up its claims to the southwest (including texas) Missouri applies for statehood as a slave state in 1819. Gradual abolition/emancipation in missouri with the use of implied powers of the constitution.
