Sex & gender: usually, when we think about sex and gender we think of two kinds, but that"s too simple, pregnant man born with female genital & female organs, baby girl"s genitals look like male genitals. Identity: how in your brain do you identify yourself, expression, how you present yourself to other people, ex: feminine, masculine, both, neither, attraction, sexual attraction, romantic attraction, sex. Gender identity, gender expression & gender roles & stereotypes: gender identity, personal sense of self, male, female, both or neither, gender expression, everything that you say or do to show your identity, sometimes we lie. Ex: transgender expressing that they are not transgender. **gender roles & stereotypes affect our identity & expression. **more about nurture than nature on a societal level. Biology of anatomical development: genetics + hormones anatomy. Prenatal anatomical development: embryos develop female anatomical structures unless there is sufficiently high testosterone in week 7.
