The first woman to receive an official degree from texas a&m university was mary crawford didn"t receive her diploma at commencement she had to go to the apartment of the registrar sectary to receive it. Even if the participants interviewed by aronson did not identify as feminists, they supported feminist goals. The first woman to hold the office of president of texas a&m university was elsa murano.
