Garden city (aka town country) takes advantages of both from town and country. City size would not exceed 30,000 in population. Occupy 1,000 acres surrounded by agricultural belt consisting of 5,000 acres principally for farming and forest preservation, but also including related uses such as an agricultural college. Tightly organized with a central core designated as the garden surrounded by the town hall, theatre, library, museum, hospital and concert hall. Radiating out from the central core would be the central park . Surrounding central park is crystal palace a glassed-in arcade as shopping area. Beyond crystal palace would be the residential neighborhoods all within a grid based street system.
