ECE 2323 Lecture Notes - Lecture 2: Ni Multisim
Document Summary
The overall objective of this lab was to observe the behavior of resistors in a dc circuit and relate this behavior to ohm"s law. Ohm"s law tells us how the voltage across a circuit element relates to the current in the circuit and the resistance of the element. We use various methods to analyze this behavior. To begin the experiment we open multisim and construct various resistive circuits in a combination of series and parallel configurations. Next we use ohm"s law to theoretically determine the unknown values of the circuit. Once we determine the values of the unknown quantities we use the tools in multisim to determine experimental values of these quantities. After all the unknown quantities are found we then compare the theoretical and experimental values to calculate our percent error. After experimenting with various circuits in multisim we have concluded that ohm"s law holds true for resistive circuits.
