Gender- personal traits and social positions that members of society attach to being male or female. Gender roles- set of behavioral norms assumed to accompany one"s status as male or female. Gender identity- one"s personal experience of one"s own gender. Gender expression- the way a person expresses their identity (appearance, dress, behavior) Form of social organization in which females are dominant over males.
