Document Summary

Last time we looked at blood pattern evidence: stains and spatters. Types of stain and how to read them. Fluid evidence can tell us a lot about a crime scene through its behavior and patterns (height, distance, type of weapon, any other types of people, attempts to clean up, etc. ) Going from things that are solely exclusionary (trace evidence, paint, etc. ) to confirmatory (dna) Present in every cell, lots of chances to find dna. In sweat, lipstick stain, bodily fluids, etc. Twisted and tightly packed around a glob of sugar called sisto and that"s packed into a chromosome. Over 99% of our dna is the same. Dna"s job is to code for amino acids then eventually down to proteins. So the way that dna codes for insulin and stuff like that should be about the same for everyone. Less than 1/10th of a percent is your own dna. Full sequence/geode of dna is in nuclear dna.
