Company"s decisions are driven through everyday values that employees strive to achieve. In todays work environment, employers are looking for employees that will best exemplify their image. Sarah e. brown from thinkgrowth. org explains in her article that during the hiring process, we as job seekers should remain in control of choosing a place to work based on the companies values. If we are able to align our values, to some company, business etc then we have a higher chance of living longer and earning more money based of high performance. One example given in this article is the legendary downfall of corporate giant. Enron was famous for their slogan of integrity, respect and communication ; this meant nothing without action, of which enron failed to do. Brown explains, many companies state values that sound great, but actually allow for toxic behavior. in this case, winning isn"t always everything.
