A search engine is a software system designed to search for information on the world wide. Some popular search engines are: google, yahoo, bing. To use a search engine, first you will need to open your web browser. Once you have done that, you will need to type the search engine name into the address bar. Now press go or the enter key to be taken to the search engine. To use a search engine, you type in certain key words into the search box. Key words are the words that describe what you are looking for in simple terms: for example, how to bake a cake . Results will appear as links on the results page. The most relevant or popular result will appear first. To visit a page, click on its link.
