Language is how a student communicates and interrupts the information taught. If there is a student who speaks one language while the teacher speaks another, classroom performance is likely to be low. If the family speaks a different language then the language the school teaches, the parents might not be able to understand the notes the teacher is sending, or understand what the child"s current level is. Culturally speaking, the family might not view their child"s education as so important and or may not be familiar partaking in their child"s schoolwork.
