What hospice involves: philosophy, palliative care, team / advocacy, crisis intervention, case management, coordination of services, case consultation, bereavement counseling. The philosophy behind hospice: each person is entitled to the right to die without pain, the dying process should be a meaningful experience, focus on respecting patient goals, their preferences, and choices/decisions.
