Males usually breadwinners and females take care of the household. Gender socialization: process by which individuals of a given society internalize the values, beliefs, and norms built around sex categories and learn to function as male and female members of that society. Gender inequality: advantages/disadvantages in pursuit of personal success. Prejudice and discrimination: thoughts and feelings about people"s sex and gender, usually negative, discrimination about going further than just thoughts, like negative acts, prejudice usually leads to discrimination. 5: education, religion, politics, military and the workplace, sexual harassment. Sexual barter = perform sexual favors under threat of punishment.
