1. Which alternative energy source do you think is most likely
to succeed? Which is best for the environment?
a. Wind is best for the environment. Solar is most likely to succeed
b. Science vs. Humanities side of decisions (most efficient vs. easier)
(fact vs. personal preference)
c. It depends on the environment: some places, a solar farm is pointless
if there is not much sun
d. Solar:
i. Most readily available, largest source of energy
ii. Hazardous productions (mining in developing countries)--
moving the environmental and humanitarian issues, take up
land and disturb ecosystem

2. Hypothesize how increasing CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere will
affect us in Eugene?
a. Melting snow, close to the coast, hazardous and drastic weather
events, rain levels, Eugene as a valley
