The promised land became cuzco, with manco and mama ocllo became the first leaders of the inca empire, sapa inca and coya. Therefore, all leaders of the inca empire could claim that they were descended from divine beings. At the center is coricancha which is the place of worship for int and the most sacred spot in the sacred valley of cuzco. It was sheathed with gold tiles inside, but the conquistadors stole the gold and put a church on top of the corichanca. Huayna capac was seen as one of the most successful military leaders in military expansion.
