Processing visual stimuli: feature detectors in the primary visual cortex respond to specific features in parallel (there are different feature detectors that notice each different aspect), color, movement, form, depth, this information is passed to the visual association areas of the occipital, parietal and temporal lobes for higher processing, individual features are integrated, resulting in perception.
