Participant access: in terms of getting addresses: self-administered electronic questionnaires. Completed on own, little to no supervision. Difficult to take representative sample of internet users. Reponses times can be slowed depending on internet access. Mixed mode surveys: more than one [mode] can be used to get responses. If one mode is weak, a strong one can balance it. It is clear what the relationship is between the questions and what the researcher is trying to know.
