The push towards sexual extremes and sex positivity . Rape culture: the use of images, video, languages and laws that legitimize, validate and perpetuate rape culture. Ex: sports imagery, tv shows, music videos. Looking at the split of work outside the home vs. inside the home, we see that statistically women work more inside the home, even if the women are working outside the home the same amount. The stalled revolution : women full time workers are going up, but housework is still not done by men. Economy of gratitude: the balance of how someone would like to be perceived and they receive. Family myths: a self made version of reality that hides the truth of how a relationship actually operates.
