Should she be sent to jail for that: one view of this is that this is her job, and she"s violating the law because she"s using her position and discriminating against people, 74% believe yes. Should she be fired: she took a position on religious grounds, 87& believe yes. She came out of jail, she was not fired, and she was able to keep her job, but someone else on her staff gave the marriage license. The county for which she worked accommodated for her. Other people: she"s a champion of religious freedom: ted cruz met with her and called her a champion of religious freedom, that she was mistreated. He thought that religious freedom of belief was being trampled by the civil rights law.
