Pact between jews and muslims in medina. Battle of badr: first encounter between muslims and quraysh (tribe there) Treaty of hudaybia: peace in medina. Islam is the personal submission to the will of god. Gender inequality is a symptom of uncompromisingly male-oriented cultures of the muslim world.
