Someone discovered that if you place teosinte seeds in water, you get a sort of fermented drink, close to beer. In the americas, this gave rise to villages. People were able to move off of their sustenance that focused on big game and traveling, allowing them to move towards the domestication of plants and animals. They were able to evolve and leave the migration way of life.
