Looting occurs at the hands of the powerful. It"s just painted to look like it is from the weak. Looting occurs because some voices are not heard. Even if corporations benefit from looting, it is happening in a very careful, calm, looting way. The image painted is a much more violent image the rich can use to their advantage. Fear is implemented into the movement to help shut it down.
