Document Summary

Multiple ganglia that have moved into our skells. Important nerve centers where important nerves and nerve fibers can be found. Integration: nerve cell"s specialize even more and take on the ability to solve problems. Each cluster of cells are tied in with a specific function. Sensory neurons are located in various parts of the body. All a a motor neuron receives from the brain is an action potential, an electrical impulse. In order to be able to have this network of nerves and action potentials, we have regions in our brain that receives action potential in our brain and integrates it as smell, taste, sight etc. Certain regions directly wired via nerve cell"s. Peripheral nervous system (pns) and central nervous system (cns). Cns: brain and set of ganglia that integrates with pns leaving the brain. The pns is axonal when leaving the brain. Reflex- hard wired not to immediately reach the brain.
