Python is the programming language you will use this semester with idle. A program is a list of commands given to a computer, which are explicit and unambiguous. Something that is ambiguous has multiple meanings. Programming is writing a list of un-ambiguous instructions (only have one and only one meaning) so that the computer can solve a problem. You have to be able to remove the errors from the program, which is the most challenging part. An algorithm is an unambiguous set of instructions of how to solve a problem. Do not fall behind with your work. Do not skip homework assignments, this is how you get the most practice.
