People complain so god sets fire to their camp. People complain about how hungry they are and they reminisce on egyptian food. Moses bitches to god about how he has to lead a bunch of whiners. Moses says that if god won"t feed the people, god should just kill him. God tells moses to gather up seventy elders in the community so he can share his spirit with them and they can help moses manage the people. God says he"ll give people enough meat to where they"ll hate it. But two guys manage to keep the divine gifts going. When joshua (moses"s assistant) sees them prophesying around camp, he tries to stop them. God sends meat in the form of quails but then hits the jews with a plague. Moses"s sister, miriam, and his brother, aaron, get a little jealous that god always seems to talk to moses. God knows moses to be the humblest.
