Latins recognize that they are a common ethnicity despite being separated into separate ruling cities. Citizens of one latin city were citizens of all of them. Marriage rights were shared between the city states. Rare for this time period as most other city states wouldn"t permit marriage outside the city. Founded 753 bc by the mythical romulus. There were seven kings and the earliest four are probably pure legend. The last three kings are legit (~600 bc) Tarquin was the name of the first and last of the last 3 kings. Etruscan kings ruled rome in the 5th c bc. The graves of the tarquins are great sources for art. Rome that"s been there since ancient times. Jupiter was the patron god of the roman state.
