Hysteria-react to stress and avoid responsibility by developing physical symptoms. Hypomania: over-activity, accelerated speech, prefer action to thought. Validity scales: to make sure someone isn"t faking good or bad or the answer to questions. Empirical keying: scales are developed by seeing which predict the best patients. I am sad all the time and i cant snap out of it. I am so sad and unhappy that i cant stand it. Often used in conjunction with iq tests to assess for learning disorder.
