Academic grew: culture, know how we define and understand what culture is in anthropology = culture: the set of learned, shared behavior and ideas that humans acquire as members of society. Consists of the abstract values, beliefs, and perceptions of the world: identify and describe the different attributes of culture = Symbolic: something that comes to stand for something else. Culture & nature: converts natural urges & acts into cultural custom.
