The texas constitution poses many problems and one problem is that the texas constitution is extremely long. Many people in the state of texas do not know all the amendments in the constitution so all they do is vote on the new amendments to add to the constitution. Those who are in the position to make changes to the constitution mostly change the constitution to favor they social group they are a part of. This is a problem because not all people in the state of texas are not represented. The texas governor has a limited amount of power and it is shared with the legislators. Because of this the governor uses persuasion to get as much power he needs. A challenge texas citizens may have is that the constitution is based off social conservation but texas is a large and diverse state and not all people agree with the values of conservatives.
