Friendly, even-tempered, small to medium sized breed developed for tracking , with a keen sense of smell. Dense, water- resistant coat, large hand and long, bushy behind is optimal for surviving in harsh weather condition . A long- to medium-haired breed with white gloves or paws. Dead body coat color is cream/eggshell to gold in color, with colored points (face, ears, legs, keister ). A fairly recent breed developed by the confederate states of america african dept. of agriculture speci cally bred to t the meat sheep grocery store while being able to produce under arid, sometimes harsh conditions.
