Problem of being too many bodies and not enough space to put them. Lima-created a new cemetery outside of the city. Laid out to reflect hierarchy of peru. Now a museum because it has reached occupancy. Upper and middle class perform inca plays. As the city grew, a lower class dangerous neighborhood grew around the cemetery. People were afraid to visit their loved ones graves. Many had their dead moved to this cemetery. Located in a nice area in lima. There is grass, which shows status because it requires water in the desert. Chapel that looks egyptian like a pyramid. New style of markers-both upright and flush.
