Devoted the rest of his life (20 years) to traveling the mediterranean and preaching how to survive the eschaton (believe in jesus) Visits tarsus, then galicia (province in turkey) and established communities that believed. Then visited ephesus (western coast of turkey), athens, rome. Arrested in rome and beheaded in 62/64 since most people did not like his preaching. An alternative story from what christians teach.
