Able to win a string of victories. Ayubian king dies, small boy takes over as heir. Boy king is killed, a mamluk appoints himself as the sultan. The mongols (central asian, closely related to mamluks) 1250"s: mongols sack baghdad, travel towards palestine. Meanwhile, the mamluks have just taken over rule in egypt. Mamluks currently moving north to confront the mongols. A spring in the jezreel valley near the destroyed city of meggido. Two asian tribes are now fighting in the jezreel valley: mamluks vs. Mamluks led by baybars (a mamluk sultan)
