Syndrome: a collecion of both signs and symptoms that can be a characterisic of a number of diferent diseases: oten have to treat syndrome before treaing actual cause. Complicaions: a secondary process that manifested because the irst process increased its risk of occurrences by weakening the immune system: people oten die due to complicaions. Characterized by: very fast onset, ranges in severity, may go away with treatment, resolve by itself, or cause death. Characterized by: onset is over a longer period of ime, rangers in severity, but tends to get progressively worse, periods of exacerbaion/remission>cyclical. Each exacerbaion that you have is going to be worse than the last one you had.
