Type of cancer that i researched is skin cancer. Skin cancer is the out-of-control growth of abnormal cells in the epidermis, the outermost skin layer, caused by unrepaired dna damage that triggers mutations. These mutations lead the skin cells to multiply rapidly and form malignant tumors. (basel. Cell) the three types of skin cancer are basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. The risk of someone getting skin cancer is 1 out of 5. 70 most people are diagnosed with skin cancer. It is very common for an elderly to be diagnosed with skin cancer. The most prevalent speculations about the causes of skin cancer are known to be the sun"s harmful ultraviolet rays and the ultraviolet tanning machines. Nowadays detecting skin cancer is very easy and it can be diagnosed in a very early stage. It can be treated by a dermatologist as soon as it is diagnosed.
