Looking more closely, one notices that the birds fly in opposite sync, that is when one bird flys with its wings up, the other ibis behind it flaps its wings down and vice versa. This is because the birds timed their wing beats perfectly to keep its wingtip in the upwash of the bird in front of it. Tail length in widow birds- males have longer tails to attract the females. Decomposition is very slow, with a rapid burial. The more abundant the species, the more likely you are to find their fossils. Fossils are evidence for evolution because it shows that life changed over time. The older animal fossil was the sponge, found 650 myo. Oldest vertebrate fossil was the fish, found 500 myo.
