Constructed of gray pelham granite, red-brown longmeadow sandstone trim. Sandstone panel in gable peak above bell tower door contains high relief carving of right arm holding a sword, emblem of ma. Granite cornerstone, located on south side of main entry, displays building"s construction year (1884)
