Russian government collapsed (surprised it lasted as long as it did). Brit and french launcheda major attack. , so russia did one to for the eastern front. Army got further than what they can support. Goods had to travel further, and govt couldn"t do that. The duhma demanded reform but tsar nicholas ii refused.
