Pronunciation: the correct speech sounds for a given language or dialect. Enunciation: the clear pronunciation/articulation of the correct speech sounds. Expression: combining pronunciation and enunciation to effectively and expressively convey the full meaning of a text. Italy is the birth-place of bel canto or beautiful singing . The emotion of the language is in the vowels. Makes italian easier to learn and pronounce. Ipa: 1 a written 2 phonetic system 3 to aid in the correct pronunciation of 4 any sound in 5 any language, 6 regardless of the spelling. Hiatus: apparent when there are two adjacent vowels and one has the stress of the word. This symbol will always be present in the word, placed after the longer vowel. Each word will only have one syllabic stress. Stress: created in italian by lengthening the vowel, not applying weight. Usually on penultimate (next - to - last) syllable of a word, but is not a fixed rule.
