Unemployment rates right now are low they were really high starting around 2008 recession. When unemployment rates are high, it"s an issues , or social problem. Sociologists tend to focus on societal-level causes of social problems. Most people tend to only see individual causes for individuals problems. The situation has a powerful impact on behavior. Situation can be society as a whole. The situation is more powerful than the individual .
