Anything in which you create or in any way change things is creativity (root). Flow is conducive to creativity: the balance between too challenging (stressful) and too easy (not interesting). So we want proximity and connectivity; even though we started out as empty spaces great minds gathered in colleges etc. Even now we can be easily isolated but internet offers insane amount of new connections (think transportation too) Problem is that current education is out of date and designed to teach toward different kids, different economies. World is very distracting today, but we penalize kids for being distracted and say they have adhd for not wanting to focus on boring lessons when there"s so much else. So we anesthetize instead of aestheticizing them ie waking them up. Must change paradigm by not treating school as production line, some younger kids work better than older ones do.
