A warm boot is when the computer is already on and you restart it without turning off the power. Embedded operating system- entirely stored within a device. Network operating systems (nos)- controls computers that are linked together. Stand-alone operating systems or desktop operating system- control a single desktop or computer. Windows phone 8- introduced in 2012 by microsoft.
