Certain wines may indicate if its fuller body, can sometimes be indicators of flaws. Color comes from skin of grape, sugar water ferments into alcohol. Juice needs to come into contact with grape skin for a period of time. You can make a white wine from any grape. Can"t make a red wine out of a green grape. Most rose made from darker grapes with a little contact with juice. White wine with more color could have more body. Pink wines are made from red grapes; roses have lightness of white wine in terms of body but some of the flavors of the red grapes, bridge between red and white. White zinfandel from california will be sweet. More tannic, dry mouth feels if darker. Color wise dark wines will mellow out.
