5 Supplements to Boost Muscle Growth
Hitting the gym sounds a good idea for most people in order to boost muscle growth. However it is
important to note this may not be the ultimate solution for you to attain that muscle mass you have
always desired. Your body requires supplements to boost muscle growth. Supplements are important in
boosting muscle growth by performing some specific roles that your diet cannot meet. Supplements not
only help to boost the growth of muscles, but also help you in losing fat by adding up energy to your
muscles during intensive workouts. In this article therefore, I will provide you with a list of 5
supplements that you may require to boost muscle growth.
Creatine
Creatine occurs naturally within our body with over 95% of its composition found in the skeletal muscle.
However, to boost muscle growth, you should take it as a supplement too. This is due to the fact that
creatine acts to fuel your body for high intensive exercise during workouts. In addition, by increasing
your strength and power for workouts, it aids in the fat loss and therefore permits growth of lean
muscle mass only. For creatine to have effect in your body, it is recommended that your body has
sufficient amount of insulin hence you should take this supplement with carbohydrates and other
supplements that will serve to stimulate insulin.
Beta-Alanine
Beta-Alanine is a highly rated supplement in the boosting of muscle growth due to the ability it
possesses in increasing the intra-muscular levels of carnosine. In fact, Beta Alanine supplementation
increases carnosine levels by over 60% in a short time span of about four weeks. Usually, during

Branched-Chain Amino Acid (BCAA)
Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) is a supplement comprising of three preferred amino acids
including leucine, isoleucine and valine. This supplement plays an important role in protein synthesis,
where the body makes new proteins and hence repairs muscle fibers, without which, muscle growth will
not occur. They also play a role in the regulation of protein metabolism. Also, as an important
supplement in boosting muscle growth, BCAAs drive nutrients consumed to the muscle tissues hence
allowing for improved workout recovery not mentioning their role in delaying muscle fatigue and hence
allowing for more time of workout.
Glutamine
Glutamine is essential in muscle growth as it provides the energy for the cells that are rapidly
undergoing division and which are responsible for boosting muscle development. However, it is usually
depleted at a high rate in the case of intense training. In this case it should be taken as a supplement.
Also in boosting muscle growth, glutamine slows down muscle tissue breakdown during intense exercise
