Henry vii (1485- 1509: three major events that took place in england the hundred years war (1338-1452), Peasants revolt (1381) and the war of the roses (1455-1485): the hundred years war-war between england and france. Started by edward iii: peasants revolt of 1381- peasants establish a revolt against the rich nobles. They started questioning: war of the rose- war between two major noble families who were having rose as their noble symbols. The war was between the sons of edward iii. After the war most of the men in the noble families died and the queens became widows. Henry tudor (house of lancastrians) killed richard iii (house of york). Later, henry tudor married edward iv daughter and thus the war came to an end: from here begins the tudor dynasty", henry vii"s accession to the throne of england after the battle of bosworth. Owen tudor (a welsh knight) son edward married married son henry tudor.
