In this unit you will be introduced to the idea of independent learning. In university you will be required to cover a substantial amount of material on your own time. This is just a warm up for that. You are responsible for reviewing the textbook sections outlined below and completing the questions from that section. I will not assign specific questions for you to complete. It is your responsibility to identify the questions that are most applicable and likely to be asked on a quiz or test. I will not leave you totally without some instruction, however. I will use some class time to provide some example questions and take them up. With that being said, during class time it is your job to complete the text sections. If there is a section you are having trouble with i will help you but only after you have worked with your peers and researched the topic outside of the text book.
